Blogging Spree

on Tuesday, I had a little car problem!

While I was in a 7 hours meeting all day long (Quarter review and long discussions) a colleague of mine was being a little carried away by being late and he hit my car.. Nothing much, no2or zgheer!

Frankly enough, that's not the story... here it is..

I came out from that long day, and I even didn't notice the bump.. I saw that guy's business card on my window and made the link afterwards. Enno, he should be some relative of Mahatma Ghandi, yet I was perplexed.

You can't repair your car in the UAE unless you get a police report that costs $140. And I couldn't refrain from calling those cops to get their ass moving with their top notch gadgets and toys that made that report cost that much (I so much remembered the Leb police biker with his heritage moustache and that I would even hug when he would eventually give me a ticket in Beirut).

Now, I feel bad about that whole story. I made the guy pay for something immaterial! He was a gentlemen and I went material with him. Sorry dude! I hope I can make it up to you!
